A cooperation agreement between the MECC and the World Student Christian Federation
The Secretary General signed a cooperation agreement with the World Student Christian Federation in the Middle East to strengthen ecumenical work and empower young people.
On 6 August 2026, at the Middle East Council of Churches headquarters in Beirut, Professor Michel Abs signed a cooperation agreement on the Council's behalf with the World Student Christian Federation in the Middle East, as part of both bodies' commitment to strengthening ecumenical partnership, particularly in the field of youth. Abs stressed that investing in young people's talents is a cornerstone for the future of both the Church and society.
