Five decades across research and public work
His professional life joins two complementary disciplines: economics, which reads the movement of resources, and sociology, which reads their effect on people. His experience has crossed higher education, business, development management and church service while remaining close to institutional and everyday realities.
At the Middle East Council of Churches, he moved from roles beginning in the 1980s into executive leadership and the General Secretariat. In global work, he brings the Middle East's experience and questions: peace, justice, migration, dignity, and a presence that is both rooted and open.
